
A brief CV of the Principal - Peter Crumpler
Peter has been involved in Education for all his working life. He has been a
Primary School teacher and Deputy Head in schools in the Midlands, Devon and
latterly in Cornwall. For ten years he worked as an IT consultant and Advisory
Teacher with Cornwall County Council working with children and teachers.
He is a NOF trainer and holds a NAACE (National Association of Advisers for
Computers in Education) accreditation for In-service Training.
He has worked in Romania with the Ministry of Education and a charitable
trust to develop IT in schools and colleges. He has collaborated with a
Professor of Neurology at the University of Michigan via the Internet on a book
for paramedical professionals in developing countries and closer to home has
helped to produce a Water Safety Book for Primary age children in the Penwith
district of Cornwall.
He has run courses in conjunction
with Teacher Training establishments as well as residential courses for
teachers and the general public. A recent successful course was for "Silver
Surfers" - the youngest member of the course looking forward to his
retirement the following week!
During the last seven years he has started his own consultancy dealing with
educational ICT (Information and Communications Technology) and has recently
expanded into the area of web site creation and maintenance.
Peter specialises in working with IT terrified adults and complete beginners.
He has many interests including riding his beloved and ancient horse over the
beautiful moors of West Penwith, reading, music and photography.
